Fall Designs

Pumpkins

Mod pumpkin.

Mod pumpkin with initial.

Orange microcheck gingham pumpkin.

Pumpkin on brown patch.

You can choose the pumpkin with or without the curly-que vine. The leaf can be done in this green polka dot or green corduroy.

Pumpkin with monogrammed name.

Football

Can't wait to put this fun football on a shirt for my son. The houndstooth fabric is actually a corduroy. I also have a chocolate corduroy fabric and can do white stripes on the ends like this...

Fall Kickoff

Even though I live in Alabama country, I had to stitch this helmet out with my alma mater's name on it. I can do it in any college colors you want, though ... you choose the colors and a name or rallying cry.

My husband, on the other hand, is a graduate of the University of Texas, so I had to find a Longhorn applique so that our son can be an equal opportunity football fan. (We are excited about Ole Miss and Texas squaring off in Oxford in 2011 ... been a lonnnng time since they played each other, so you bet we will be there.)

Candy Corn

Love this!

Boo

I made this shirt to go with a pair of black gingham shorts.

Also, check out the monogram patches like this one in Fall colors below.

Thanksgiving Turkey

Also, planning to stitch out a different turkey design.

Next up ... Christmas shirts!

Monogram Patch

These are my favorite appliques to do! So adorable on a t-shirt, onesie or infant gown. If you are wanting one on a t-shirt, I can match or compliment the shorts or pants.

Brown monogram on green corduroy. Cute boy/girl shirts would be this one and the green polka dot fabric shown in the fabric post below.

Rectangle patch. Brown monogram on orange microcheck gingham. The font has slightly tilted letters. So much cuter in person than in the picture.

How it works: You can pick from one of the fabrics I have or provide your own. Or, if you have a pair of pants/shorts that you want me to match, I can find some fabric that will match it, or you can give me a small swatch of the fabric yourself.

Great Shirts on Sale

This week at Old Navy online, you can find some great infant/kids shirts on sale for $5. They had these last year and I only got a couple before they sold out. This year, I ordered a bunch. They are super thick, super soft long-sleeve tees ... perfect for Winter. Great for appliques and monograms. This is a shirt I bought when they went on sale last year. It had navy contrast stitching (this year's shirts don't have that) so I put a dark blue patch and monogram on it.

Car

Love this racing car with room for a name on it.

Dinosaur

Alligator

Monkeys

Note on Girl Designs

I know that most of these appliques are geared toward boys ... it's too easy to do so since I have a boy. However, I am working on getting some girl designs up! Also, I have a ton of appliques that I just haven't stitched out, so if you are interested in a certain design (i.e. birthday hat, lollipop, cupcake, dinosaur, airplane, train ...) just let me know.

Baby Gift Set

Here is a baby gift set I did this week ... a onesie and a burp cloth.

Cross Burp Cloths

I love making these Cross burp cloths to welcome babies into the world! The cross is sewn with a zigzag stitch onto a thick white cloth diaper with a name monogrammed below it. Burp cloth measurements are 10x14, though I may be going up to the bigger size 12x18 soon.

Lots of Addies have been born recently!
